What Makes Us Different

Cross Timbers Baptist Church is like many have never experienced. We resemble the early churches in America with solid Bible preaching and the singing of great hymns out of a hymnal. A place where Christ has the preeminence and the command to go into all the world with the gospel is emphasized.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

A Word From The Pastor:

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. At Cross Timbers Baptist Church you find a more traditional service that is Christ centered featuring congregational singing from classic hymns and special music that honors Christ. Each Service includes a Biblical message aimed at helping you to grow in your walk and relationship with Christ. Going to church for the first time can be intimidating, however at Cross Timbers Baptist Church you can expect a friendly atmosphere. I want to extend a personal invitation to you to visit with us.

Bio

Pastor Brian Wells received Jesus as his Savior at about 12 years of age. He would later move to Arlington, Texas in 1987 and join the Trinity Baptist Church where he would become heavily involved in many ministries. He surrendered to preach in 1990 under the Pastorate of Dr. Bob Smith. He also met his wife at the church and they were married in 1990. In 1991 he would begin Bible College and graduated in 1996. In 1997 the Wells Family moved to Stephenville, Texas where he assumed the position of Pastor of Cross Timbers Baptist Church. They have three children who are all in the ministry serving in multiple churches in Texas.
